NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) - Police in southern Indiana say a teenager used Facebook to get help after his grandfather was holding him against his will.

56 year old James Ross is suspected of assaulting his 14 year old grandson and not letting him leave the home in New Albany.

Police say the teen used Facebook to contact his aunt who called police.

Ross faces charges of battery, strangulation and drug charges.

Police seized nearly 40 firearms and about five pounds of marijuana from a safe inside the home.

Ross was arrested when he and the boy left the home when a SWAT unit arrived early yesterday.
