Charlestown, Indiana teacher faces drug charges

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A Charlestown, Indiana teacher faces charges of maintaining a common nuisance and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

56-year-old Kevin Hennegan was arrested at Charlestown Middle School in December on preliminary drug charges.  He is a Social Studies teacher who has worked for the Greater Clark County school district since 1990.

Police say they found a pill bottle with marijuana in it and $13,000 in Hennegan's desk.

Hennegan's out of jail on bond and currently suspended with pay.
