LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Charlestown Police are asking for help in finding a child molestation suspect they say cut off her home incarceration tracking device and fled.
35-year-old Juanita Fisher had been on home incarceration for the past year awaiting sentencing on charges of child molestation, criminal deviate conduct, vicarious sexual gratification, child solicitation, and obstruction of justice. She was arrested in August of 2011.
Fisher was scheduled to appear in Clark County Circuit Court today for sentencing as part of a plea deal. That plea deal is off now, and she will face an additional charge of escape.
Police say Fisher's roommate called Charlestown Police about nine this morning saying that Fischer had cut off her tracking device and stolen her credit card before fleeing.
Police believe she is with her husband, Joshua Cox. Anyone with information about Fisher is asked to call Charlestown Police at 812-256-6345.
