LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- PNC Bank says it is fighting back against cyber-attacks. It sent an email to nearly five million customers warning that its websites are being hit with high traffic consistent with computer attacks.
PNC says those attacks are meant to cause delays for legitimate online banking customers -- apparently other banks are dealing with the same issues.
PNC assures us that its website uses encryption to protect customer information and accounts.
