LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Officials say about 300 residents in Harrison and Floyd counties are under a boil water advisory after a water main break near Corydon Ridge Road.

A spokesman for the Edwardsville Water Corporation says the water main break happened around 4:00 p.m. Friday.

The boil water advisory is in effect for residents west of the Oaks subdivision off of Corydon Ridge Rd. People in the area are asked to boil their water for two minutes as a precaution.

The official says the water should be clear by Monday afternoon.
