POLICE: Mobile meth lab discovered in Clarksville

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Clarksville police confronted a man who was acting nervous in the parking lot of a hotel, but he said he was only there to buy a sandwich.

When police confronted Alan Luther outside of the America's Best Inn, they say they spotted meth making ingredients in the bed of his truck.

He wouldn't let them search, but when a police dog sniffed it out, police discovered a working meth lab cooking in a jacket.  Police found more meth ingredients, including 40 Sudafedrin pills in a hotel room where Luther was staying.

Luther is charged with manufacturing and possession of meth.
