LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A high ankle sprain has sidelined University of Louisville sophomore forward Chane Behanan and he will be out for a week to 10 days, according to Cardinals' coach Rick Pitino.
Pitino told WDRB today that Behanan suffered the "moderate" sprain in practice on Monday and that he will not make the trip for the Cards' game against Big East opponent Seton Hall on Wednesday.
"Chane has been playing well, so it's a shame, but he'll recover from this," Pitino said.
Behanan is the Cards' leading rebounder at 7.1 per game and over the last five games was averaging 16 points per contest and shooting 57.1 percent from the field.
Pitino said freshman Montrezl Harrell will see increased playing time in Behanan's absence.
