LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Police say a search of the GKN Sinter metals plant in Salem, Ind., turned up nothing amiss after a bomb threat was received Wednesday afternoon.
The plant and police evacuated first and second shift workers. They returned to work about 7 p.m. EST, Salem police Maj. Scott Ratts said.
Officers and at least one dog from the Louisville metro police bomb squad searched the plant. They flew to the plant in an LMPD helicopter. No one was hurt, Ratts said.
