LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence snagged her second Oscar nomination Thursday morning, this time as Best Actress for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook."
Her competition in the category is Jessica Chastain, nominated for "Zero Dark Thirty," Emmanuelle Riva for "Amour," Quvenzhané Wallis for "Beasts of the Southern Wild," and Naomi Watts for "The Impossible."
Lawrence's co-star in "Silver Linings Playbook," Bradley Cooper, also received a nomination, for Best Actor.
Previously Lawrence was nominated in the 2011 Academy Awards for her role in "Winter's Bone," but she lost to Natalie Portman's performance in "Black Swan."
