LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro police say one man has died after a crash along Shelbyville Road at Beckley Station Road.
It happened just before 3:00 this afternoon, at Beckley Station Road and Shelbyville Road. This white pickup truck was going east on Shelbyville, when it collided with a green SUV at the intersection. The truck's driver was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV has non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash also knocked out the traffic light at the intersection. Traffic will slow to one lane as police continue their investigation for several more hours this afternoon.
There is no word yet on the identity of the driver killed in the crash.
