LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- 15 people in Indiana have now died from the flu after five new deaths were reported overnight.
Officials call the outbreak "moderately severe."Two of those new deaths were patients in long-term care facilities.The flu season has hit earlier this year and officials say it could put Indiana on pace to exceed the average of 7 to 30 deaths from the illness a year.Indiana is one of 41 states seeing intense flu outbreaks right now.
