Corrections officer accused of pointing unloaded gun at wife

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A protective order has been granted to the wife of a southern Indiana corrections officer after she said he pointed a gun at her during an argument.

Heath Ray pleaded not guilty Tuesday after being charged with pointing the unloaded gun at his wife.

The protective order was granted as part of Indiana law, and police say Heath and his wife are trying to resolve their issues.

Ray is a corrections officer in Henryville.

He was suspended during an investigation, but has since returned to work.
