LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The flu has claimed more victims in Indiana.
27 people have died with 17 of those deaths reported in just the last week.
But state health officials do say 20 of the people who died had underlying medical conditions such as heart disease.
So far Two children have died from the flu.
The state health department says nine of the 27 people who have died in Indiana from flu-related causes had received flu vaccine shots.
