Complaint against meningitis-linked pharmacy

Posted: Updated:

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WDRB) -- Indiana is taking action against the pharmacy linked to that deadly meningitis outbreak.

Seven people in Indiana died.

The 66-count complaint against the New England Compounding Center alleges 66 Indiana patients were harmed by the pharmacy's steroids used to treat back pain.

It asks the Indiana Board of Pharmacy to impose disciplinary sanctions and to pay prosecution costs.

The tainted steroids went out to six Indiana clinics before a recall.
