Indiana lawmaker wants to change law for motorcyclists

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Indiana state lawmaker wants to give motorcyclists the right to cruise through red lights.

Republican Tim Brown is co-sponsoring a bill because many stoplights are magnetically triggered and motorcycles sometimes don't trigger them.

The bill would allow motorcyclists to ride through a steady red light if they come to a complete stop for two minutes and ensure it's safe to go.
