½ lb.    Ziti Pasta
1-15 oz. pkg.    Kroger Low Fat Ricotta
2 Tbl.    Wholesome @ Home Basil Pesto (in Deli)
1 lb.    Laura's 92% Lean Ground Beef
½ Sweet Yellow Onion (sliced thin)
½ Green Bell Pepper (slice thin)
3 links Johnsonville 50% less fat Chicken Sausage 3 Cheese Italian Style (sliced)
1-24 oz. jar    Kroger Private Selection Arrabiatta sauce (spicy marinara)
2 cups Kroger Part-Skim Shredded Mozzarella

Preheat oven to 350 degrees & spray a 9"X13" baking dish lightly with pan release.

Bring a large pot of water with ½ tablespoon of salt to a boil.  Stir in pasta & cook 8-10 minutes (until desired consistency).  Either drain the pasta & build the dish immediately or rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process to bake the dish the following day.

In a large bowl, mix together the pasta, ricotta, & basil pesto until combined well.

In a large sauté pan, start to brown ground beef then add in onion & green bell pepper.  Continue to brown off ground beef & cook vegetables until almost tender.

Add in sliced chicken sausage & Arrabiatta tomato sauce.  Let simmer about 5 minutes.

Spread half of the pasta mixture in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.  Spread half of the meat mixture over top of the pasta mixture.  Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella on top.  Repeat with the remaining ingredients.

Bake dish for 40-50 minutes.  The top should be browned & bubbly.  Great served hot with some Kroger Crusty French bread & a tossed salad.
