LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Southern Indiana is running out of telephone numbers, which is why ten public hearings are coming up in March to discuss a new area code.
The 812 area code is predicted to run out of phone numbers by 2015. Proposed solutions include splitting the area up into new codes or interspersing an additional code throughout the area.
