LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say they've solved a highway mystery that has lingered since June.

They have charged an Oldham County juvenile with shooting at cars as they traveled along I-71 near Crestwood.

They were separate incidents that occurred between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. in June.

Two cars were struck, but no one was hurt.

The alleged shooter faces two counts of wanton endangerment -- a Class D felony.

The investigation remains open and anyone with information is asked to contact the Oldham County Police Department at (502) 222-1300 or (502) 222-0111
