LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Americana Community Center showed off its renovations to the former Holy Rosary Academy campus in an open house Thursday morning.
The community center provides services to all people, including refugees and immigrants, as Americana Center Board Member Barry Barker explains: "We're serving folks from 35 different zip codes, 92 different countries, and providing youth programs, summer programs, family education adult programs, community activities -- it is the only center of its kind in the country."
During the renovations, the center tried to preserve the history and tradition of Holy Rosary while making the space functional for the center.
