LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The woman charged with murder after a deadly house explosion wants her trial moved.
Attorneys for Monserrate Shirley asked for a change of venue in the case, arguing she can't get a fair trial because of public outrage, bias and media coverage.
Shirley's home exploded in November, destroying 33 other homes and killing a couple living next door.
Shirley, her boyfriend Mark Leonard and his brother Robert Leonard Jr. face charges of murder, arson and conspiracy.
The trial is set for March, and prosecutors are considering the death penalty.
