LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana man accused of stabbing his brother in the chest and stomach allegedly attacked him after the brother told he was no longer welcome to live in his home.

62-year-old Robert Cross of Seymour faces attempted murder and other charges, after police say he stabbed 65-year-old Melvin Cross.

Court documents show Robert Cross told officers his brother told him to leave because of a drinking problem.

Melvin Cross is listed in good condition at an Indianapolis hospital.
