LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- New Albany Police are investigating after a body was discovered on the bank of the Ohio River, police say.
According to police sources, the crew of a passing barge spotted the body of a white female in her late 40s or early 50s near Floyd Street and Perry Street.
Investigators tell us that there were no obvious signs of trauma on the body, which was found partially clothed. An autopsy is expected to be conducted today.
The body does not match that of any missing persons, according to police.
