LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three people are hurt when a home explodes early Friday morning in northern Kentucky.
The blast leveled the home in Newport.
Neighbors say they could feel their own houses shake.
One man says he helped get the residents out of the burning building.
"The neighbor said 'that house is on fire over there.' I said, 'Is anybody in it?' And they said, 'Well, yeah.' Well, then, I ran over there, and by the time I got there, the lady was coming out and she had burn marks all over her and she was screaming," explained Jeff Ebding.
A couple and their adult son suffered severe burns.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation, but firefighters say the flames were hard to put out because the fire was being fueled by natural gas.
