Papa John's Cardinal Stadium to host job fair

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than 40 employers such as UPS, Kroger, Louisville Metro Police Department & Jefferson County Public Schools will be interviewing and hiring to fill open positions. The job fair is part of the Job Fair Wednesday January 30th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium inside the Brown & Williamson Club. The event is sponsored by Time Warner Cable/Insight Communications & Carrols Corporation/Burger King.

Hundreds of positions will be available at the job fair which will be the first Major Job Fair of the year. Other employers scheduled to attend include Marriott, Charter Communications, Prudential, Tires Plus, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Dr. Bizer's VisionWorld, Neil Huffman, Aramark, Lowe's, Galt House and many more.

Admission and parking are free. Job seekers can enter the stadium lot from Floyd Street by entering the D E-J (Bronze Lot) and drive to the back of the stadium and entering Gate 6 of the stadium and taking the elevator to the Brown & Williamson Club on the 3rd Floor. Parking is available in the main lot next to the Red "Cardinal Express" train cabooses. The job fair is a great way for job seekers to speak one-on-one with dozens of company recruiters as well as learn about educational opportunities.

Opportunities range from entry-level to management and are in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing/production, sales, administrative, industrial, skilled trades, IT support, marketing, retail, hospitality, collections, customer service, financial planning, transportation, management, education/faculty, security, warehouse, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally, bring plenty of resumes, and be ready to interview on-the-spot. Attendees have the option of Pre-Registering and avoiding potential long lines at the job fair.
