LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Local players and coaches are getting ready for baseball and softball season with help from pros.
Hundreds of kids are learning from the best at the third annual Louisville Slugger baseballCON and softballCON.
An Olympic medalist and minor league baseball players are giving them invaluable tips.
Tyler Kuhn, a minor league player who graduated from Trinity High School -- is back home to help.
"I do a lot of work with younger guys, working on their skills and stuff like that. Anytime you get a group together like that, you can just see the excitement that they're having with it, and as players still, we have an opportunity to show them some things that we worked on when we were that age that helped us get to the next level" said Kuhn.
Coaches from 11 different states are also at the conference, sharing tips on how to be good leaders.
