The Leslie County Coroner says the accident happened on Saturday morning at the Begley No.1mine site of T & T Energy in Leslie County.

Fifty-two-year-old Jerry Watts was welding on the liner of a bulldozer blade when a jack slipped and Watts was struck in the head by the liner.

He died at the scene from blunt force trauma. Watts was from Slemp in Perry County.
