LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Another three people in Indiana have died from the flu in the last week. The state's death toll from the virus has now risen to 43.
At least 33 of the people who have died were over age 65, and even more had underlying medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, and renal disease.
Health officials say this year's flu virus is a more aggressive strain and is one of the worst outbreaks in several years.
