More than 25 culinary professionals will whip up some chocolaty concoctions for a good cause on February 11. Chocolate Dreams will feature five different chocolate dessert categories, light hors d'oeuvres and live and silent auctions. To see a complete list of chefs and auction items, CLICK HERE.
Volare Ristorante executive chef Joshua Moore explains how to make his chocolate molten lava cake. And GuardiaCare's executive director Susan Smith shows some of the auction items featured at the chocolate tasting event.
Chocolate Dreams will be held at the Marriott Louisville East, 1903 Embassy Square Blvd., Louisville.
All proceeds will benefit GuardiaCare Services. GuardiaCare Services is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting and supporting independent and stable lives for seniors and adults with disabilities.
The silent auction will feature Oaks and Derby tickets, autographed sports memorabilia, Disney World passes, vacation packages and restaurant gift certificates. Musical entertainment will be provided by Gaba Close and Dennis Ledford from Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes.
