LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police arrested a man yesterday who they say sold stolen jewelry to a pawn shop.

According to an arrest report 20-year-old Gerrod Jones sold three stolen high school rings -- including one senior ring and two championship rings -- to Little John's pawn shop on 4th St.

Police say the value of the rings was more than $500.

The three high school rings were stolen earlier that day on Locklee Rd., near Arnoldtown Rd.

The arrest report states that Jones told police a friend paid him $85 to sell the stolen rings to the pawn shop.

Jones is charged with receipt of stolen property.
