LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police arrested a man after they found drugs and guns inside his home.

Earlier this month a warrant was issued for the arrest of 29-year-old Lawrence Bent by Louisville Metro Police.

According to an arrest warrant, earlier this month police searched the home of Bent near Lambourne Blvd. and Third Street Rd. Police say they found about 173 lbs. of synthetic marijuana, six lbs. of a white powered substance, a digital scale, needles, pipes and eight shotguns and rifles.

Police say during the time of the search, Bent was not home but evidence in the house, such as check stubs, lead officers to believe Bent lived in the home.

Police also say two other people were in the home during the search, and they were arrested at the scene.

Bent is being charged with buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, trafficking a controlled substance in the first degree and trafficking in synthetic cannabinoid.
