ATLANTA, Ga. (WDRB) – An hour flight from Memphis to Atlanta takes more than two hours on Wednesday. A four-hour delay in Atlanta follows.
What is a basketball fanatic supposed to do?
Finish my weekly NCAA Tournament Seed Report, ranking the teams by their combined performances in the AP, USA Today, RPI, Pomeroy and Sagarin rankings:
Here we go:
ONE SEEDS
Michigan (15 total points) – The Wolverines bring their top ranking to Indiana Saturday night. They're fun to watch.
Florida (15) – Can anybody in the SEC beat the Gators?
Kansas (19) – Can anybody in the Big 12 beat the Jayhawks?
Duke (21) – Seems high after the hit the Blue Devils took in Miami.
TWO SEEDS
Indiana (26) – Tough trip to Mackey Arena and Purdue Wednesday night. Then Michigan looms.
Syracuse (35) – Throw out the Villanova game. Still the team to beat in the Big East.
Louisville (43) – Throw out the Villanova and Georgetown losses. The computer rankings still like Rick Pitino's team. Do you?
Gonzaga (44) – I'd like another look at the Zags. Or two.
THREE SEEDS
Arizona (44) – Wildcats' season of living dangerously caught up to them against UCLA.
Miami (60) – Looking like the class of the ACC.
Ohio State (61) – Nice win against Wisconsin keeps the Buckeyes on track.
Michigan State (68) – Have all the pieces to be a monster in March.
FOUR SEEDS
Minnesota (81) – In case you couldn't tell, the computer rankings love the Big Ten.
Butler (89) – Bulldogs will be stronger now that Rotnei Clarke is flying around again
Oregon (97) – Ducks looking like Number Two in the Pac-12.
Creighton (97) – The best of a very formidable Missouri Valley.
