LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Bardstown, Ky. have officially charged a woman who lied about being attacked by a man in a white van.
Lechia Lewis is now charged with falsely reporting the incident.
The 50-year-old was arrested last month on outstanding warrants.
Lewis told police a man in a white van grabbed her while walking into work at a Cracker Barrel in Bardstown. Her story was the second of four similar incidents involving a white van.
Officers are still investigating the other three incidents, one in Bardstown and two in Louisville.
