Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- John E's restaurant, a fixture on Bardstown Road in Louisville for decades, has closed its doors.
A paper sign posted on the doors of the restaurant Friday read simply: "GONE OUT OF BUSINESS."
An employee tells WDRB, he was told by the owner this morning, that the business was closed but didn't give a reason. That employee says at least 50 people worked at the restaurant.
The restaurant's website was up and running for a short time Friday with the events schedule listing entertainment through the end of February, but was taken down early in the afternoon.
The phone number for the business rang busy after repeated calls. WDRB also left a cellphone message for the owner, who didn't return our calls.
