LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A traffic stop leads to the drug arrest of a teenage girl and her passenger. Indiana State Police say around 11 p.m. Friday, troopers pulled over 19-year-old Margaret Lenz and passenger 21-year-old Troy Sanders. The traffic stop happened near Halcyon Road near Marcy Street in Chalestown.
During the stop, police found 30 grams of marijuana, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Lenz and Sanders were arrested and taken to the Clark County Jail where each faces several charges.
Lenz is charged with maintaining a common nuisance, d felony, possession of marijuana over 30 grams, d felony, possession of a controlled substance, d felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Sanders is charged with dealing in a controlled substance, b felony, maintaining a common nuisance, d felony; possession of marijuana over 30 grams, d felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
