LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A local restaurant has a deal for diners who still have unused Lynn's Paradise Cafe gift cards.
The Cafe, which is just a few blocks from Lynn's, will honor Lynn's gift cards this month. Diners can use them for breakfast only, Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The bill is capped at $50. Sal Rubino, owner of the Cafe, explains, "Lynn got all the money for those gift cards. We get none of the money but what we're hoping to do is get some exposure of our breakfast program. We get people to come in and try the Cafe that maybe never tried it before, so it's a win-win situation. They get something that virtually has no value."
Rubino says the gift cards will work on the honor system. Lynn's suddenly closed last month with no explanation.
