LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky governor's office confirms that Gov. Steve Beshear took a secret trip to Germany last week.
Spokeswoman Kerri Richardson says Beshear and Economic Development Secretary Larry Hayes met with businesses and discussed potential investment opportunities. Richardson would not reveal which businesses the governor met with.
Richardson said the governor's trip was not announced because the meetings were "preliminary and private."
