LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say a Shawnee High School student threatened to shoot up his school after he got into an argument with the cafeteria staff Tuesday afternoon.

Police say 18-year-old Ronta D. Beeler got angry with the staff, and as he was walking away, he stated, "Wait 'till I get a gun and shoot this place up!"

That was enough, police say, to take him into custody.

"Beelers' threats could result in death or serious physical injury to students and staff," the arrest report states.

Beeler was arrested and charged with second degree terroristic threatening, according to police.
