Vintage fire equipment looking for home in Jeffersonville

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One of the world's biggest collections of vintage fire equipment is right here in southern Indiana, but it may have to find a new home.

The collection's currently being stored in New Albany.

Historians were trying to raise money to build a museum for Discount Labels founder Fred Conway's fire equipment collection. But they couldn't raise enough money, so it may have to move to Jeffersonville.

A Clark County resident has offered to house the collection, which has equipment dating back to 1756.
