LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Police say the heroin problem in the community is out of control. A week and a half ago, WDRB News presented a story about Ryan Vowell, who was behind bars in Metro Corrections addicted to heroin.
The jail says he was released on February 4th. His friends tell us he died of a heroin overdose yesterday.
Police and local officials report seeing an increase in heroin use and crimes related to it.
