LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Some baby spinach products are being recalled due to "an abundance of caution" by the manufacturer.
Taylor Farms Retail, Inc. is voluntarily recalling some of its Organic Baby Spinach products because they could be contaminated with Enterohaemorrhagic Escherichia coli.
Symptoms of the diseases that could cause include abdominal cramps, diarrhea, fever, and vomiting.
The only product in Kentucky and Indiana being recalled is the Organic Baby Spinach 16 ox. tray. Its UPC number is 0-30223-04780-3.
The company says no illnesses have been reported due to any of the recalled items. It says anyone with the product should not eat it and should dispose of it.
Anyone wanting more information can call Taylor Farms Retail, Inc. at 855-293-9811. And it says anyone concerned about an illness from having eaten the product should call a doctor.
