LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested for robbing a woman in front of an ATM, according to police.

It happened at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, at the PNC Bank on S. 3rd St., near Kingston Avenue.

Police say the woman had just withdrawn cash at the ATM, when 34-year-old Brett Alexander Adkins got out of his vehicle and robbed her at gunpoint.

Adkins then allegedly got back in his vehicle and drove away.

Police arrested him on Tuesday afternoon and he allegedly admitted to the crime. He's been charged with first degree robbery, according to an arrest report.
