LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Members of the Kentucky National Guard and Air National Guard stationed in Afghanistan are showing their Cardinal pride.
The photo to the right was taken on the eve of the most recent U of L - UK game. The soldiers and airmen catch U of L basketball games through the Armed Forces Network.
The Guard members are stationed at Forward Operating Base Pasab in Kandahar Province. They are training Afghan farmers and government officials in how to increase productivity and better market agriculture products.
