LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A fatal crash shut down Taylorsville Road between Valetta Lane and Pee Wee Reese Road Thursday afternoon.
Police tell us a White Lincoln was going southbound when a yellow pickup crossed over and hit the car head on.
Police say the elderly driver of the Lincoln died at the scene.
The coroner has identified her as 83-year-old Louisville resident Shirley DeFelice.
DeFelice was wearing a seat belt.
She died of multiple blunt force injuries.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say there were no skid marks at the scene, so they're investigating why the truck crossed into the other lanes.
