LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two students are facing charges after they allegedly set a fire onboard a Frost Middle School bus Monday afternoon.
According to a Jefferson County Public Schools spokesman, a few students were burning papers on the bus when they caught the seat on fire.
The fire was brief because the seats are flame retardant, spokesman Ben Jackey said. No injuries were reported. The bus was not taken out of commission because the fire was brief and damage was minimal.
Louisville Metro Police has charged two juveniles in connection with the incident. Their charges are not known.
