LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Pleasure Ridge Park High School choir is looking forward to sharing the stage with a rock band.
The choir won a radio contest to back 80s rocker Foreigner at its show Saturday night at Belterra Casino.
Three dozen students have been rehearsing this week with director Philip Jennings.
And while Foreigner's music may be more familiar to their parents, students like Meredith Ailiff are excited about the performance.
"I think just the fact that we get to sing with a professional band ... I think that's going to be really special for a really long time for all of us," Ailiff said.
Foreigner is working with high school choirs and bands around the country during its tour.
PRP's choir will get $500 for its music program for being in the show.
