WDRB bowls for a good cause

Posted: Updated:

Louisville, Ky. (WDRB) -- Athletes aim for a strike, all in the name of helping children with special needs. The Easter Seals of Louisville hosted Bowling for Children with Disabilities Saturday.

The money raised goes toward providing medical rehabilitation like speech and occupational therapy for children in need. WDRB took part in the media challenge.

Sterling Riggs, Rachel Collier, Paige Quiggins and several other WDRB staff members spent the afternoon rolling out strikes.

"Oh yeah it's awesome people from the community coming here and helping out children like Matthew means the world to us," said Tabitha Walden, with Easter Seals.

WDRB's team took home some big awards, most creative team attire and best team spirit.
