LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A KFC employee apparently found one meal potato-licking good.
But when a photo of her appearing to lick a plate of mashed potatoes showed up on social media over the weekend, the employee was fired.
It happened in Johnson City, Tennessee. When the picture went viral, word got to Yum Brands, KFC's owner, here in Louisville.
KFC spokesman Rick Maynard says the photo was taken after the restaurant closed, and that the potatoes were never served to a customer. The employee was immediately fired, and the company is making sure other employees receive more training on its operating standards.
