LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A man who was once a sales manager for Humana has pleaded guilty to taking part in a bribery scheme that brought in over $2 million.
56-year-old Glenn Fine paid $1 million in restitution and forfeited assets on Tuesday before entering that plea.
Fine and 48-year-old James Wegner of New Port Richie, Fla. told prosecutors they took money from Cutler & Associates of Columbia, S.C. in exchange for referring insurance brokers to them.
Wegner pleaded guilty in January.
Cutler & Associates founder Shep Cutler and a business associate, Dan McNerney of Columbia, Mo., were named as participants in court proceedings. Neither has been charged. Attempts to reach both men were unsuccessful Tuesday.
