LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Officials at a southern Indiana school are apologizing for costumes students wore that sparked allegations of racism.
Three New Albany Floyd County school leaders say they'll write an apology letter to Parkview Middle School.
A handful of students at Highland Hills Middle School wore black masks, including a gorilla mask and one featuring President Barack Obama's likeness, to an eighth grade basketball game between the schools earlier this month.
The parents of some students at Parkview, which has several African American students and players, questioned if racism was involved.
