BUCKNER, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Buckner today.
It happened around 5 a.m. on State Highway 393. That's when police say the victim -- 22-year-old John Gebhart from Crestwood -- apparently lost control of the 1987 Chevrolet he was driving and crashed into a guardrail.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Neil Johnson says Gebhart was southbound when he crashed. The guardrail pierced the driver's side of the vehicle.
